2021.10.26 02:00 Blacksheepbiker LumaFusion’s stabiliser is crap
I’ve finally gotten around to testing this and on identical handheld clips from a dslr which are only a tiny bit shaky, LF does an absolutely awful job. Distortions and waviness in the footage and it keeps zooming in and out. Completely unusable.
Same clips, run through Resolve’s stabiliser - perfectly smooth. No wavy wobbly zoomy effect.

throw away account just cuz
I just dont know what to do anymore. I'm a floater pharmacist and like to think I'm pretty resilient but I probably had the worst shift of my life. I was at a busy store where I was just by myself for an hour, and then only had help with a very inexperienced technician who kept messing things up. People kept swamping the store for their vaccinations. Phones wont stop ringing and I just completely ignored them all, drive thru customers getting extremely mad because I can't get to the them, some of them cussing me out and leaving after i told them it was going to be a long wait. Huge lines of people in the store. Nothing is ready when people come to the store to pick up prescriptions. I just don't know what to do in that situation. I know we're all used to being shortstaffed but what do you do in a situation where you feel paralyzed because there's NO HELP? How do you stay calm and just what do you do?
Stayed 2 hours after closing unpaid of course to help clean up the best that I can. Even a bigger slap in the face that I feel the need to do this considering how shit our wages are (newer grads). I feel like it's better to just be unemployed to even work like this anymore. It's just not worth it.

2021.10.26 02:00 segdy BGP peer stuck in opensent. What could be the cause?
| I got a BGP tunnel for IPv6 and IPv4 prefix from a tunnelbroker. The tunnel is correctly configured, both IPv4 and IPv6 endpoints are pingable. Firewall is configured for BGP.|
The IPv6 BGP session works and announces my IPv6 prefix. However, although I have selected both ip and ipv6 in the address families, it only announces my IPv6 prefix and not also my IPv4 prefix.
The IPv4 BGP session does not work and is always stuck at "opensent". The config is identical to the IPv6 version and there is literally nothing left I could imagine being an issue.
What on earth could I still try?
For reference, this is my config:

2021.10.26 02:00 dr_magnesium College Minors: Learn French or take Sustainability
Let me give a bit of context to put you up to speed and get you to my point of view. If you just want to get to the question, skip ahead to "READ HERE."
I started college back in 2018 after high school. Went in as a marketing major. Didn't like it and switched to education with history and economics as concentrations. I completed a semester and did somewhat poorly.
By the next couple of semesters, I didnt go back to school and went off to join my state's National Guard. Say what you want about it, but it pays for my school and I can have a life outside the military. But it gave me time to step away from school and realize I didn't want to be a teacher. I did like history and still do, but I didn't think I'd find a career I'd be happy with. Never took an economics class but knew it wasn't really what I wanted to do.
So I went with a new approach and bounced to the Geography Department where I've been earning a concentration in Geographic Information Systems/Sciences (GIS). Basically, I learn how to collect and display data on spatial layouts (i.e. I play with maps). I also learn a fair deal about human geography from required classes (which I found out I love a lot). I did that for a semester and stuck with it. This time, I added urban planning to the mix and felt like it was a good fit for me as well.
I had the money from the military to add another year and so after my spring semester this year, I added two minors that add up to a full year: spanish and sustainability.
I like learning Spanish here and know it'll help me in my career and life. I've had an intro class and feel like I've been able to learn a lot so far. On the other hand, I have a sustainability class that focuses on how to live more efficiently with the environment, economy, and personal well being.
So I'm between two minors.
French: I took three years in high school but don't feel like I cared enough about the language or culture. Maybe I've been harsh to the language and should give it another go. However, I'd be learning two languages at the same time. It may be more difficult than I can perceive.
Sustainability: I haven't taken a class on it just yet. I could always drop in on a class to just look into it. I can see it being useful with our ever evolving world and the need for cities that make sense, but this is a risky minor to take. I'm just not sure how useful it could be.
A lot of the issue lies in which is more important to building a career?
I'd like to be a city planner who specializes in GIS and map making and analysis. Having a language or two can help if I ever decide to take my skills international as well. Or if I want to, focus on planning cities our sustainable designs.
Hopefully that's not too much to unpack!
